Can I turn off email notifications?

Yes, you can.

Who can set up notifications?

All users who have MEMBER and ADMIN permission. At this time, guests will not be able to configure notifications because they spend less time in the tool than ADMINS and MEMBER, and therefore may need email notifications to track the progress of requests. 

To turn off email notifications, click "Settings" > "Notifications," select which notifications you want to disable.
